At times, makeen's Support Team may require access to makeen transform app to get a better grasp on the issue you are facing and solve it quickly.
For this purpose, we require that you mirror your device on your Windows Machine to enable sharing your screen with the Support Team.
This article details the steps you need to follow to begin sharing your iOS device's screen with makeen's Support, which are:
1. Download Zoom
2. Set Up Screen Recording
3. Join the Meeting and Share Your Screen
4. End the Share
1. Download Zoom
Zoom is one of the top meeting solutions available. Makeen's teams rely on it for online meetings due to its high quality, ease of use, and extensive range of features.
You can download the Zoom app from the App Store either by searching for Zoom Cloud Meetings or clicking on this URL.
Please ensure that your device's iOS version is at least iOS 11 to run the app seamlessly.
2. Set Up Screen Recording
Before you can begin sharing your entire screen, you need to carry out the following steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on Control Center.
- Tap on Customize Controls.
- Scroll until you see Screen Recording, then add it by tapping on the + next to it.
Note: When sharing your screen for the first time, these instructions will appear on-screen. However, carrying them out beforehand will save time.
3. Join the Meeting and Share Your Screen
Once the app has been installed, run it on your device and join the meeting set by makeen Support Team. You can also initiate the meeting by sending us its ID beforehand.
Follow these steps to share your screen.
- From the bottom of your screen, tap on the Share Content button.
- Select the "Screen" option.
- Access the Control Center by:
- Swiping up from the bottom on iPhone 8 or older devices or iPads running iOS 11
- Swiping down from the top right on iPhone X or iPads running iOS 12
- Hold down the record button until the Screen Recording option is visible.
- Tap on Zoom.
- Tap on Start Broadcast. Your screen will be shared within three (3) seconds.
4. End the Share
Once you are done, you can stop sharing your screen with the following steps:
- Tap on the red status bar.
- Tap on "Stop".
To return to the meeting, tap on the status bar again to open Zoom.
