Previous: How to Manage your Draft Submission


The Sync page in the transform app is designed to ensure form data is submitted in a timely manner. It allows you to view which forms:

  • Synced with your enterprise's server
  • Were sent to designated users, data stores, or business systems 
  • Remained unsubmitted in the Outbox


In this article, you will learn more about using the Sync page in the app. 


Sync Screen

To access the Sync Screen, tap on the Sync button from the taskbar. On the Sync screen, the default entity 'Forms' will be displayed along with the following four options: 

  • Synced: [DURATION] - This feature displays the last time forms were synced. 
  • [NUMBER] Pending - This feature displays how many forms are in a pending state.
  • Sync All - Tapping on this icon will sync all forms at once.
  • Submission Queue - The Submission Queue displays the Outbox and Sent queues of that specific app. 



Forms Screen

Tapping on the Forms screen will show you the status of each of the forms you have submitted. Your forms will either be in the:

  • Outbox - The Outbox contains forms that were submitted by the users, but have not yet synced with the enterprise's data servers.
  • Sent - Sent contains all the forms that have been successfully submitted and synced.



Options in Outbox

Forms that remain in the Outbox will appear with three icons. 


 

Here's what each of these icons means: 


 ViewTapping this button will display the form in question.
SubmitYou can sync a form manually with this button.
DeleteTapping this button will delete the form.


Options in Sent

The Sent queue features four options. 


 

Here's what each of these icons means: 



  View
Tapping this button will display the form in question.
  CopyIf this feature is enabled in transform Studio, you can replicate the submitted form and its data. The new form will be saved as a draft. 

 Delete
Tapping this button will delete the form. 
Remove all sent formsBy tapping this button, all the forms in Sent will be removed.
